ABOUT THE ROLE: SALES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST FRANCE

WeRoad is, first and foremost, a community! That’s why we’re on the lookout for a Sales & Community Specialist who will help us build the WeRoad brand and community in the French market.

Your mission will be to create, manage and grow the WeRoad community, creating and constantly updating our database of potential WeRoaders and playing a key role in helping us reach our sales targets.

This role is for the dynamic and entrepreneurial, those who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty and who love a challenge: you’ll be one of our very first hires in France and will help bootstrap WeRoad France from the ground up!


What you'll do:

  • You’ll be our sales expert, with the primary task of hunting and converting leads through any means possible;
  • You’ll be the first point of contact for our WeRoaders and will be in contact with them through all major customer channels (Facebook, Instagram, Zendesk, Whatsapp, phone, and more);
  • You’ll work closely with our Country Manager to develop a Sales Strategy, and best practices for sourcing and converting WeRoaders;
  • You’ll find creative ways to generate new leads, build and utilize your network and optimize the most effective channels for interaction with potential WeRoaders;
  • You’ll keep the sales process organized by maintaining and updating an efficient sales pipeline and record of interaction with customers;
  • You’ll be a master of understanding our product in order to communicate our USP and tour offering to prospective travelers;
  • You’ll help guide our WeRoaders based on their needs and preferences;
  • You’ll Interact enthusiastically with all members of the community, serving as the “face”/”voice” of WeRoad including the creation of engaging content/posts on our FB community;
  • You’ll be the point person for pre and post tour operations and care;
  • You’ll assist in the organization of events designed to build and engage our community;
  • You’ll support our WeRoaders in case of complaints or any kind of assistance; 
  • You’ll support us in the pre-launching operations of the Country, helping us out in content translation and localization, market analysis, and focus groups;
  • You’ll work closely with our sales teams to support them during the summer peak


What we’re looking for:

  • You are French native, or speak the language at a mother-tongue level and have expert level knowledge of the French culture and ways of communicating
  • You ideally have previous experience managing a community online and communicating directly with customers
  • You are highly enthusiastic and energetic and transmit this energy into your online and written interactions
  • You love having a target to reach and are self-motivated to achieve results
  • You have expert-level knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp
  • You are a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • If you have experience in sales and/or customer care, it will be considered a plus
  • You love traveling and are (or will fall) in love with WeRoad!
